The ORILLA idea

Between rhythm and pause.

Inés · The perspective behind ORILLA

ORILLA is a fashion label with its own perspective on everyday life. Clothes that leave room for the person wearing them: shirts, dresses, layers, trousers, skirts and blouses that work in conversation.

We are interested in the moment when a shape, a tone and a gesture meet. The label starts with a simple idea: getting dressed can follow the rhythm of a day and also make room for a pause within it.

Getting dressed can also mean leaving room.
Inés · ORILLA

A perspective: Inés’s.

Inés is the woman behind ORILLA. She notices how a silhouette changes as someone walks, how two tones meet and how a small gesture gives the same combination a different intention.

Her starting point is to imagine a wardrobe where a change of pace does not ask you to change who you are. An idea born from paying attention to what is close at hand and finding possibilities in looking again.

That is where the name comes from: an orilla, or shore, is a place between things. Between the street and a pause; between a line and its movement. This meeting point gives ORILLA its way of understanding clothes.

Shape, tone and gesture.

Three principles give this world its meaning. They are choices we return to: a way to look at, combine and wear clothes.

Shape
Simple lines and open volumes. We are interested in the relationship between silhouette and movement: how layering changes a proportion and how the space around the body becomes part of the whole.
Tone
Ivory, sand, clay, olive and black. The palette takes its calm from the landscape and its contrast from the city. Tones meet without competing; colour accompanies form and invites different combinations.
Gesture
Tie, layer, repeat. The proposal stands out through a considered reading of everyday life: the same outfit can express a different intention through the way it is worn. The wearer’s choice completes the idea.

The idea continues in the Collection.

This is ORILLA’s starting point. In the Collection you can explore the garments, look at their shapes and build your own selection.
